My name is Delaney Tase and I am pursuing a career in the video industry. I recently graduated (November 2023) from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. I studied Film & Television with a concentration in editing. 

The film industry, and films in general have always interested me. However, I find my interests lie more in the direction of shorter pieces. I find interest in the ever-growing social media marketing industry. I aspire to one day work on commercials, music videos and short promotional videos. I found that getting an education in film with a concentration in editing was perfect for me, because I learned the tools necessary to edit videos while also learning the art of storytelling. Even short films, such as music videos, tell a story, simply in much less time than a feature-length film. 

In my personal life, I love to travel. My parents currently live in Germany, so I have the privilege of visiting Europe often. I am also a swim coach in Lincoln Park, Chicago, where I train children ages 5-16 in competitive swimming. I also really enjoy music and discovering new artists.
